Frances “Fran” Barrilleaux Dufrene passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at the age of 75. Beloved wife of the late Arnold Dufrene, Sr. Mother of Arnold J. Dufrene Jr. (Denise) and Stephen B. Dufrene (D.J./Diana). Daughter of the late Josie and Alvin Barrilleaux.

Sister of Linda Chisholm (Kyle). Grandmother of Jason Wayne Dufrene, Alexi Marie Dufrene, Savannah Le’Dare Cochran (Cullen) and the late Justy James Dufrene. Great grandmother of Ella Reine Dufrene, and Nova Le’Dare Trosclair.

Also survived by nieces and nephews. She was an amazing wife, mother, Maw Maw, and great grandmother. She was the greatest mother-in-law anyone could ask for.

She was kind, giving and would do anything for her family and friends. She will be missed by all whose lives she touched. She was a member of Alpha Phi Sorority and employed by HA-Cuts.

She was a lifelong resident of Gretna, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy. , Harvey, LA on Friday, May 17, 2019 at 11am.

Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday morning from 9am until 11am. Family and friends may view and sign the online guest book at www.
