Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Jean Moye, age 83, will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, December 23, 2018 at the Richard N. Stanley Memorial Chapel with burial to follow at Westview Cemetery. Rev. Charles Asbell will officiate.

Mrs. Moye was born October 22, 1935 in Wrightsville, Georgia; she was preceded in death by her parents, the late Theodore Roosevelt Amerson and Willie Ruth Page Amerson, her husband, Ralph Elliott Moye and two sisters, Martha Amerson Crawford and Joyce Amerson. … Read More » She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church where she was an active member of the WMU. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

She worked for a number of years as a medical assistant for Dr. Bill Dodd and was retired from the Johnson County Tag Office as a secretary. Mrs. Moye passed away Friday, December 21, 2018. She is survived by 2 sons, Billy (Cathy) Moye of Wrightsville and Ben (Sandy) Moye of Loganville, a daughter, Debra (Bobby) Hall of Wrightsville, six grandchildren, Bill Moye, Justin Moye, Brad Hall, Morgan Hall, Tiffany Claxton and Blake Bush and 8 great-grandchildren The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until 2:45 P.M., Sunday, December 23, 2018 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Scotty Garnto, Stan Garnto, Nicky Benton, Bobby Moye, Eric Moye and Rob Garnto. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
