Francesco Torrillo, 88, passed away on November 13, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Italy, worked in Switzerland as a barista for 15 years, and then made his 10 day journey to America when he was 37 years old on October 21, 1967 on S.S. Raffaello. He worked with many railroad companies, and then later retired at the age of 63.

He enjoyed carpentry and gardening. His parents, Tommaso and Pasqualina had eight children. He is survived by his brothers; Antonio and his wife, Caterina Torrillo; and Giovanni Torrillo and his wife, Angela Maria Torrillo.

He is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews and other family members living in America and Italy. Visitation will occur on Friday, November 16, 2018 from 4:00pm to 9:00pm at Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd. , Jersey City.

(For GPS it is best to use address: 14 Stagg Street). Funeral services will take place on Saturday, November 17, 2018 beginning at 9:30 am to 10:00 am at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be at 10:30am at Our Lady of Mt.

Carmel, Jersey City. Entombment to follow at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City.
