Francis P. Kovacs, 79, of Wooster, died Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at LifeCare Hospice. There will be no services. Online tributes may be made at www.

RobertsFuneralHome.com. Francis was born October 30, 1939 in Caldwell, Ohio to Andrew and Theresa {Mihalko} Kovacs. He married Ruth Sampsell on June 18, 1993.

She survives. Francis worked for the Central States Teamsters for 29 years as a truck driver. He enjoyed singing in barbershop quartets.

Francis will be deeply missed by his wife; children Kathleen Munninghoff, Frank (Laura) Kovacs, Michael (Amy) Kovacs and Amy Kovacs; step-children Anna (Eugene) Greenwood and Rebecca Rister; 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brother Paul (Anna) Kovacs; sisters Cecelia Lucik and Theresa (Rich) Molnar. Francis was preceded in death by his parents and brother Andrew.
