Frank’s Obituary Frank Arthur Tremble November 6, 1937 ~ January 1, 2019. Frank Tremble, age 81, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away on January 1, 2019. Frank was born on November 6, 1937 in Blackwell, Oklahoma.

He was an intelligent, analytical, and multitalented man. He could fix anything from a 70’s VW bug to a computer bug. Frank started his career as a paint chemist and after completing a degree in finance, he achieved the dream of teaching himself computer programming, years before the dawn of the personal computer.

He worked as a computer systems analyst and despite never having taken a single computer class himself, he taught programming at Southwestern College and Butler County Community College as an adjunct professor. Frank’s passions were golfing, computers, cooking burgers on the grill, playing games, and watching football. Go Chiefs!

! He had a love of music extending back to his marching band in high school, and enjoyed everything from Big Band to Pavarotti, Diana Ross, Barbara Streisand, Wayne Newton, and Neil Diamond. Frank was a master problem solver and quietly reveled in his role as the Knight in Shining Armor, always at attention and ready to save the day for his family.

Frank’s life will be celebrated and always remembered by his loving and devoted wife, Judith Tremble; brother, Wayne Tremble and wife, Bonnie of Tulsa, Oklahoma; daughter, Debra Limbocker and husband, Todd of Weatherford, Texas; daughter, Laura Almquist-Parks of Wichita, Kansas; son, John Tremble and wife Carole of Virginia Beach, Virginia; and eleven grandchildren. Frank was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Wayne and Viola Tremble; sister, Luann Wheeler; and son, John Eric “Ric” Almquist. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at the University Congregational Church in Wichita, Kansas.
