Frank Collins, Jr., known as June, passed away at John Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center in Baltimore, MD on Saturday, April 14, 2018. He was born August 14, 1942 in Exmore, VA to the late Frank and Beatrice Collins. June was educated in Dorchester County and graduated in the “Class of 1962” at Maces Lane High School.

After graduating Maces Lane High School, Frank attended Delaware Technical Community College in Alexandria, VA and completed Business Management courses. He was employed at Connelly Container Box Company, Cambridge, MD, Van Buren Automotive, Federalsburg, MD, Solo Cup Company, Federalsburg, MD, and his 2nd job to all the above, Frank’s Home Improvement. Frank loved to fix anything and listen to Jazz music.

Frank is survived by his wife Patsy; 2 daughters: Franshirl of Baltimore and Tia of Hurlock; 3 brothers: Tom (Doreatha), William (Barbara), Clifton (Beverly) all of Hurlock; one sister Geneva Thomas of Harmony; one sister-in-law Kathy Flamer of Cambridge; two grandchildren: Shatera Outlaw of Cambridge and Chelsea Jones of of Hurlock; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to his parents and grandparents, he was preceded in death by a sister Virginia Collins and brother-in-law, Purnell Flamer.
