Levin Marcus Marshall, 86, of Washington, DC, passed away on Thursday May 24, 2018 at the Medstar Washington Hospital Center. He was born in Cambridge, MD on October 4, 1931 to the late Levin M. Marshall and Anna Bankard Marshall. Mr. Marshall attended schools in Cambridge.

On August 10, 1963, he married the former Phyllis Taylor, who passed away on October 30, 2010. He served in the United States Army and retired in May of 1968. After retiring from the military, Mr. Marshall worked for the United States Postal Service from which he retired in October of 1986.

He was a member of the Cambridge VFW Post 7460 and the American Legion Post 91. Mr. Marshall is survived by a son Kevin Mark Marshall and wife Twyla of Delmar, DE, grandchildren Aaron and Hannah Marshall of Delmar, DE, step children Debbie Dozier Newman, Danny Dozier, Ricky Dozier, and Herbie Dozier, and numerous step grandchildren. Besides his parents and his wife, Mr. Marshall is preceded in death by a step son Randy Dozier.

Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge, MD.
