Raymond L. Aaron, 89, of Cambridge passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at the Candle Light Cove in Easton. He was born in Taylors Island on July 22, 1928 and was the son of the late Rueben and Nevada Abbott Aaron. Mr. Aaron was born and raised and attended schools in Taylors Island.

He worked and retired from Cambridge Wire Cloth with 45 plus years. On June 21, 1964, he married the former Mary Ann Neal. Mr. Aaron loved the outdoors where he enjoyed fishing, boating, and going to the beach.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary Ann Aaron of Cambridge, a son Raymond Aaron, Jr. and wife Sheryl of Cambridge, a daughter Lynn Brown and husband Wayne of Cambridge, five grandchildren Raymond J. Aaron of Easton, Hillary Shockley and husband Ryan of Cambridge, Renee Murphy and husband Tom of North Carolina, Rebecca Dodson and husband John of East New Market, Jenna Smith and husband Jonathan of Woolford, seven great grandchildren and a niece Linda Allen and husband Bob of Cambridge. Besides his parents, Mr. Aaron is preceded in death by a sister Ruby A. Smith. A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 18, 2018 at 11 am at Old Trinity Churchyard with Rev.
