Mary Ellen “Meg” Kinnamon, 79, of Cambridge passed away on Monday, June 11, 2018 at UMSMC at Easton with her loving family by her side. She was born in Laurel, DE on October 27, 1938 and was the daughter of the late Woodrow and Ida Mae Lewis Mowbray. Meg graduated from Cambridge High School class of 1956.

On December 29, 1955, she married Brice G. Kinnamon, Jr., who passed away on April 21, 2007. Meg worked for the District Court in Cambridge from September 4, 1973 and retired on April 30, 2010. She enjoyed traveling and in her younger years, she was very active in Meg’s Twirlett’s a marching baton group.

Meg was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the choir and was also a member of the American Legion Unit 91 Ladies Auxiliary, where she served in all capacities. She was also a member of the Chorus of Dorchester. She is survived by two sons Brice G. Kinnamon III and wife Joy of Easton and Robert S. Kinnamon, Sr. and wife Debbie of Easton, three grandsons Robert S. Kinnamon, Jr., Brice G. Kinnamon IV and Keith L. Kinnamon, two great grandchildren Hailey Mae Kinnamon, and Jaime Kinnamon, her companion Dick Thomas of Cambridge, a sister in law Chris Carter and her husband Russell of Cape May, NJ and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and her husband, Meg was preceded in death by a great granddaughter Madison Michelle Kinnamon. Pallbearers will be Robert Kinnamon, Jr., Brice G. Kinnamon IV, Keith Kinnamon, Russell Carter, Mark Burton, and Clay Bramble. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 11 am at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church with Rev.

Bonnie Shively officiating. Interment will follow at East New Market Cemetery. Family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 to 8 pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with an American Legion service at 7:30.
