Deacon Robert Edward Camper passed peacefully from this life on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at the Anchorage Healthcare Center in Salisbury, Maryland. He was born on May 19, 1938 in Vienna, Maryland to the late Angeline and Golden Camper. Robert, better known as Bob, was educated in the Wicomico County Public School System.

He accepted Christ and became a member of Agape Ministries in Seaford, Delaware where he served as deacon. For many years Robert was a professional truck driver. He drove locally as well as long distance and was very good at his profession.

Bob was a man who loved people and loved the Lord. Deacon Camper did his best at every opportunity to be a blessing to others by giving whatever help he was able to from sweet potatoes to in his younger days working on their vehicles. Robert enjoyed traveling and dining out with his devoted wife Frances and spending time with his father, Golden and step-mother, Catherine.

He enjoyed visiting and sitting with them often. Deacon Camper leaves to cherish his precious memories with his devoted and dedicated wife, Frances; 3 loyal sons: Clifton (Bukurije) of Cypress, Texas, Larry (Debra) of Upper Marlboro, and Quintin (Sheila) of Salisbury; 2 loving daughters: Marcia (David) of Smyrna and Vanessa (Steve) of Seaford; 4 sisters: Elsie Combs (James), Delores Harris, and Carla Wongus (Bishop Keith) of Laurel, Melissa Hooks (Robert); 2 brothers: Russel (Lori) of Williamsburg, VA and Kendall (Rochelle) Camper of Laurel; 2 sisters-in-law: Sarah (Eugene) Cummings, and Rosa Handy both of Seaford; 2 brothers-in-law: Leon Smack and Emerson Prattis both of Seaford, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Deacon Camper was preceded in death by a sister, Karen White; a brother-in-law, Theodore Harris, 2 grandchildren and a host of other family and friends Matthew 25:21 “His master said to him, “Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things.
