Gertrude E. Kilmon, 86, of Easton passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Chesapeake Woods Center in Cambridge. She was born in Easton on January 31, 1932 and was a daughter of the late Walter H. and Elizabeth Collins Gardner. Mrs. Kilmon attended schools in Easton.

She worked at Acme for 10 years, but mainly she was a homemaker. Mrs. Kilmon was a member of the First Baptist Church in Easton and the Ladies Auxiliary at the American Legion in Easton. She is survived by a son Charles Kilmon, Jr. of Cambridge, three granddaughters, two great granddaughters and four great grandsons and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and her husband, Mrs. Kilmon is preceded in death by three sisters and a brother. A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 1, 2018 at 11 am at the Maryland Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery Chapel with Rev. Nevin Crouse officiating.

Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
