Harry L. “Bing” Mills, 79, of Cambridge passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Mallard Bay Care Center. He was born in Cambridge on August 3, 1938 and was a son of the late Herbert and Sophia Johnson Mills. Bing graduated from Cambridge High School class of 1956.

He served in the Army National Guard. Bing was a Master Barber and the owner and operator of Bing’s Barber Shop for 61 years. He was married to the former Veronica Nossick, who passed away on November 23, 1990.

Bing enjoyed golfing, fishing and dancing. Bing was a lifetime member of the Cambridge Elks for 58 years, and a member of the American Legion Post 91 for 22 years. He is survived by his daughter Donna Mills of Cambridge, his companion of 27 years Gail Olsen of Cambridge, two grandchildren Severin Mills Laskowski and Veronica Rae Laskowski both of State College in Pennsylvania, and a nephew Van Mills of Easton and Charlene Nelson of Trappe.

Besides his parents and his wife, Bing is preceded in death by a brother Edward Mills and a sister Naomi White. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 1 pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Pastor Dave Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 163, Salisbury, MD 21803 or to the American Legion Post 91, P.O. Box 733, Cambridge, MD 21613.
