Frank Eugene Snipes, Sr. Belton Frank Eugene Snipes, Sr., 91, widower of Barbara Tilda Bradley Snipes (married 66 years) of 304 Forest Lane died Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Hospice of the Upstate. Born in Belton, SC, he was the son of the late Dewitt Talmadge and Edna McCurley Snipes. He was owner and operator of Frank’s Foods in Belton and Frank’s Quick Shop in Honea Path.

He served in the US Navy, was a mason, and member of Belton First Baptist Church for over 60 years where he was involved with the Marshall Class. Frank loved his family very much and cared for his community. Surviving are: sons, Frank E. Snipes, Jr. (Sandra) of Cary, NC and Robert Stroder Snipes of Spartanburg; daughter, Chae Lu Snipes Hinson (Curtis) of Bowersville, GA; grandchildren, Katie Brewer (John) and Nancy Mosley (Mark); great grandchildren, Harrison and Lauren Brewer, Parker and Quinn Mosley, and Adrianne Wilbanks.

He was preceded in death by sisters Lila Mae Minyard, Irene Hamby and Dorothy Martin; and his grandson, Roger Steve Ellison, Jr. Service will be held 3pm Friday at Belton First Baptist Church with Rev. Dale Lynch officiating. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories.

The family will receive friends prior to the service Friday from 1:45pm until 2:45pm in the church sanctuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Belton First Baptist Church or charity of one’s choice. Special thanks to Randy Fagg, Marty Brown, and Hospice of the Upstate.
