Frank Langer, age 75 of Scandia, Minnesota passed away at home on April 30, 2018. Frank was born March 27, 1943 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Francis Xavier and Mary Gertrude (McNamara) Langer. He proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Frank was a local assessor for the cities in Washington County for many years. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Anne Winn. Survived by loving wife, Michele, of 52 years and their children; Nick (Lidia), Kathleen (Dan) Pohlen, Kristin (Chris) Beckwith, Jason and James; 7 grandchildren: Robert Pohlen, Samantha Pohlen, Dylan Langer, Zach 9Roman) Langer, Nicky Langer, Christina Langer, Barrett Beckwith; brother, Gerard; many nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 19, 2018 at the Church of Saint Peter, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake. The family will greet friends from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 18, 2018 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake and one hour prior on Saturday at the Church.
