OBITUARY Franklin Sigfrid Borgerson May 3, 1937 – September 3, 2018 Franklin Sigfrid Borgerson peacefully entered eternal rest on Monday, September 3, 2018 at the age of 81. He was the beloved husband of 56 years to Marilyn Barattini Borgerson. Son of the late Folke and Florence Pierson Borgerson.

He is also survived and fondly remembered by his step-brother, along with many relatives and dear friends. Franklin was born in Worcester, MA and was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish before settling in Ponchatoula, LA. Franklin proudly served his country as an Airman Second Class in the U.S. Air Force.

Following his military service he enjoyed a 30-year career as a Sargent with the New Orleans Police Department. He was a dedicated and loving husband and a friend of many. He will be deeply missed by his family and by all those whose lives he touched.

Relatives and friends (you know who you are! ) are invited to attend a celebration of Franklin’s life to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Friday, September 7th from 8:30AM – 12:00PM.

He will be laid to rest with military honors in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
