Fred E. Haenlein January 5, 1926 – December 22, 2018 Fred Edward Haenlein, age 92, passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2018. Fred was born on January 5, 1926, in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Louis and Edna Haenlein. Fred was involved in the Home Building industry in Saginaw and the surrounding areas for 50 years.

He served with the United States Navy during WWII in the Pacific Fleet on the USS Houston (CL-81), and the USS Bremerton (CA-130). He enjoyed fishing, reading and sharing his life stories with family and friends. He married Lillian Reppuhn on July 14, 1947.

She survives him. Surviving are his children: Sandra Hales (Don), Bradley Haenlein (Mary), Kathy Shaner (Tim), and Fred Haenlein (Michele). Also surviving are eight Grandchildren, seven Great Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
