Fred W. Cross; 97, of Elkhorn, WI died Tuesday May 29, 2018 at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center Elkhorn, WI. Fred was born September 12, 1920 in Chicago, IL. He served in the US Army from March 9, 1943 to October 27, 1945.

Fred fought on Omaha Beach in Normandy during WWII. He worked as a Stainless Steel salesman for Allegheny Steel for many years retiring in 1985. Fred was an avid reader, he enjoyed crossword puzzles, golf and working in his yard.

He is survived by his companion of 40 years, Donna Davajon and by a host of friends. He was preceded in death by a son, a granddaughter and a sister. Celebration of Life Gathering will be held Sunday June 24, 2018 from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM.

Service of Military Honor’s will be held at 2:00 PM in the Evergreen Room at Evergreen Country Club N6246 US Hwy 12 Elkhorn, WI. On-line guestbook is at www. haaselockwoodfhs.com.
