Frederick’s Obituary ODISHOOE, Frederick – of Davison, age 87, passed away Friday, May 3, 2019 at his residence. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison, MI 48423; Chaplain Goodman Cox officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation will be 3-8 PM on Monday. There will be visitation one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Medical Team Hospice.

Frederick was born in New Britain, Connecticut on September 18, 1931, son of the late Jacob and Anna (Vielbert) Odishooe. He moved to Flint, Michigan in 1951 to work for Buick. He married Juanita Shuck on May 24, 1954.

He thoroughly enjoyed playing guitar and singing traditional country music. He received his first guitar when he was a teenager and started singing in bands in his early 20’s. Frederick also enjoyed gardening, fishing, antique cars and spending time with his family.

Frederick is survived by his son, Frederick (Joanne) Odishooe; daughter, Sondra Rogers; grandchildren, Jennifer (Michael) Henson, Freddie Odishooe; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Conner Henson. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 64 years, Juanita, parents and three brothers. Frederick loved his family immensely and considered his grandchildren and great-grandchildren the lights of his life.
