Frederick J. Ross, 74 of Cheboygan, died December 8th, 2017 at home. Fred was born on September 10, 1943 in Cheboygan, the son of William & Catherine (Owens) Ross. During his lifetime, he worked at Buick Motors in Flint, Proctor & Gamble and Cheboygan Tap & Tool.

He enjoyed working on the farm, and also loved to hunt deer, play euchre & tinker in the garage. Surviving are his 5 children; David (Lisa) Ross, Douglas (Beth) Ross, Daniel (Jakki) Ross Melissa Ross, William (Shanelle Grove) Ross; 8 grandchildren; Diana, Bailey, Emily, Catherine, Mary, Adeline, Andrew, and Lillian. 2 great-grandchildren; Mia & Kyren.

Significant other; Kathleen Jamieson. Sisters; Verna Jean McKervy and Beatrice (Leo) Terrian. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Marvin and Bernard Ross.

A graveside committal service will be held on June 11th, 2018 at 10:00 am at the St. Francis Cemetery in Alverno. A luncheon immediately following the service will be at the Benton Township Hall.
