Gail Rena Lapierre, 62, died Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Conway Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born December 18, 1956 in Woonsocket, RI, a daughter of Leo E. Lapierre and the late Jeannine Lambert Lapierre. Gail had a great career as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, with most of her career in Rhode Island.

She moved to SC in 2004 and continued her work at several locations, including Conway Medical Center. Gail was a very adventurous and fun person, always happy, was caring, and very loyal. She enjoyed ice skating, horseback riding, boating, and riding motorcycles.

She even had her own boat and has owned 3 of her own motorcycles. Survivors, in addition to her father, include three brothers, Leo Lapierre of Seabrook, NH, Bruce Lapierre of Bellingham, MA, and James Lapierre of Harrisville, RI; two nieces, Lauren and Brittany Lapierre; a nephew, Jordan Lapierre; and her faithful dog, Rosco. A service will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2019 beginning with visitation at 11 AM followed by a service at 1 PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach, 409 Bay St, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582.
