Gary Doyle Collins November 27, 1949 – March 13, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Gary Doyle Collins, 69, of Three Oaks, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, IN. He was born November 27, 1949 in Walnut Ridge, AK to Charles and Alice Collins (Axton). Gary proudly served in the United States Army and made a career for himself as a Steelworker.

He married Mary Berndt on September 30, 2000 at a ceremony in Three Oaks, MI. Gary is survived by his wife, Mary; his mother, Alice; sons, Brian Collins, Michael (Debra) Collins; step-son Andrew Alexovich; daughters, Kelly (Ron) Donkersloot, Allison Collins; sisters, Peggy Collins-Zilinger, Debbie (Don) Lewis; and six grandchildren with one on the way. He is preceded in death by his father as well as a brother, Donnie Collins.

A celebration of life will be held by the family at American Legion Post 169, 19121 US-12, New Buffalo, MI 49117 on Sunday, March 17th at 2pm. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan. Online condolences may be made at www.
