Obituary for Gary E. Loggins Gary E. Loggins, age 78, of Bristol, Virginia passed away Sunday, April 29, 2018 in the Wellmont Hospice House, Bristol, Tennessee following an extended illness. He was born in Wyco, WV on June 23, 1939, a son of the late Eugene Argus and Myrtle Pauline Sluder Loggins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Ancel Loggins; one sister, Brenda Leonard.

Gary was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving in France as a Cryptographer with the 313th Communications Division. He was a Sales Representative with U.S Auto Glass Centers where he worked for over 25 years and with Carolina Marking Devices for over 15 years. He was a member of Fellowship Chapel Church, Bristol, VA.

Gary is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Patty F. Loggins; one brother, David A. Loggins; four nephews, Greg Loggins and his wife, Amanda, Quinn, Kyle and Dylan Loggins; one niece, Pamela Almany; one uncle, Durrell Sluder; three great nephews, Ryne and Blake Loggins and Josh Wolfe; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Terry Caldwell and his wife, Dawn. The family would like to express a special thank you to the Doctors and Staff of Wellmont Bristol Regional Hospital, Wellmont Hospice House, Cambridge House and NHC of Bristol for all the love and care shown to Gary during his illness. Graveside Services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at Mountain View Cemetery, Bristol, VA with Pastor Scott Price officiating.

Pallbearers will be Greg Loggins, Ryne Loggins, Blake Loggins, Josh Wolfe, Jerrell Loggins, Terry Caldwell and Gray Mumpower. Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery at 2:45 p.m., Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to Fellowship Chapel LAMB Ministries, 201 Crockett St., Bristol, VA 24201, Shriners Hospital, 950 W. Faris Rd.
