Obituary for Juanita Howell Juanita Howell, 76, of Bristol, Virginia passed away Friday, May 25, 2018 at her home in Bristol, Virginia. She was born in Odd, West Virginia on November 21, 1941, a daughter of the late Luther and LenaWolfe Kimberlin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Johnny Griffey, one brother, Dennis Kimberlin; and one sister, Maxine Cruey.
She was a resident of Bristol for many years. She was formerly employed by Grace Healthcare as a nurse. She was a seamstress and worked at several different factories over the years.
She was a member of Shakesville Church of Christ and was a Sunday School Teacher and a member of the Ladies Circle. Juanita is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Kenneth Howell, one daughter, Diana Casey and husband, Rocky of Saltville, VA; one son, Tony Griffey and wife, Lenora of Saltville, VA; seven grandchildren, Austin Casey, Alisha Casey, Amber Casey, Lakoda Griffey, Kimberly Griffey, Brandy Griffey and Travis Griffey; three sisters, Nancy Tull and husband, Bill, Peggy Blevins and husband, Jim and Sharon Griffey and husband, Gary; two brothers, Donald Kimberlin and wife, Faye and Dean Kimberlin and wife, Peggy; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Monday, May 28, 2018 at Blevins Funeral & Cremation Services.
The funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m., Monday, May 28, 2018, at Blevins Funeral & Cremation Services, with Pastor Wayne Lambert officiating. The committal service and interment will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 29, 2018 in Chatham Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Rich Valley, VA. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
