Obituary for Gary Lynn Gregg Gary Lynn Gregg, of Quitman, passed away October 7, 2018 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Gary was born Feb. 23, 1954 in Borger, Texas to Macky and Patsy Gregg.

Gary was preceded in death by his father, Macky, and his first wife, of 29 years, Terri Gregg, in 2005. Gary graduated from Burleson High School, class of 1972, and he worked as a Production Director for the News Tribune. Gary had a highly esteemed work ethic and his dedication to working in the newspaper industry for over 35 years gave him a reputation of fairness, honesty, integrity and timeliness.

He absolutely adored his family and each of them were the priority of his life. He enjoyed time spent outdoors hunting and fishing and a perfect day was spent outside with his family by his side. Memories made with Gary will be treasured forever by all who knew him.

Gary leaves to cherish his legacy his wife Sophie Gregg of Quitman whom he married on Feb. 16, 2008; son, Jake Gregg of Quitman; daughters: Amber Inocencio and husband, Eric of Grand Prairie, Karlie Sneed and husband, Ryan, of Princeton; sons: Justin Gregg and wife, Jennifer, of Garland, Justin Keahey and wife, Jocelyn, of Forney; mother, Patsy Gregg of Burleson; brothers: Marcus Gregg and wife, Suzy, of Burleson, Harold Gregg and wife, Tina, of Burleson; parents-in-law, Don and Margie Patterson of Terrell; grandchildren: Serenity, Harper, Ryker, Anastasia as well as many other nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends. Funeral service and celebration of Gary’s life will be 1:00 pm, Friday, October 12, 2018 at Max Slayton Funeral Chapel.

Family will receive friends 5:30- 7:30 pm, Thursday October 11, 2018 at Max Slayton Funeral Chapel. For those wishing, memorials in honor of Gary’s first wife, Terri, may be made to the American Lung Association at www. lung.org.
