Gary O. Hebert, Age 71, went to be with the Lord January 17, 2019. Gary was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, October 26, 1947, to the late Elmore Alphonse and Willie Mae Hebert. He was a member of Summit Baptist Church where he was an active member until his declining health prevented him from attending.

He served during the Vietnam era and was stationed in Germany. Gary loved fishing and hunting. He worked for the Cotton Belt Railroad and Pine Buff Arsenal where he retired.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years Diane Hebert, daughter Heidi Ragan of Rison, son Dusty and wife Tracy Hebert of Rison, sisters Beckey Howard of Rison and Joann and husband Tim West of Watson Chapel. Grandchildren Colton and Preston Hebert of Rison, Trevor and wife Kylie Ragan of Rison, Ty Ragan of Sheridan. Great Grandson Tylar Ragan of Rison.

Graveside services will be Sunday, January 20th at 2:00 at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery with Brother Todd Anderson officiating. In lieu of flowers the family ask donations be made to Summit Baptist Church, 901 Ridgway, Pine Bluff, Arkansas 71603. Arrangements are by Buie Funeral Home of Rison.
