WORCESTER – Gary R. Charland, 49, of Worcester, died Friday, May 24, 2019 at home. He is survived by his mother, Marilyn F. (Belk) Charland of Worcester; Three siblings, Donald Gerardi and his wife Kim of Spencer, Anthony Gerardi and his wife Tracey of Worcester, Renée Charland of Worcester; nephews and nieces, Leanne, Katrina, Anthony, Emily, Michael, Jenee, and Joshua, many friends and extended family. He was born in Worcester, son of the late Gary P. Charland.

Gary was a self-employed cleaner of carpets and upholstery. He loved to joke, and had a great sense of humor. He had a good character and was outgoing.

He loved all dogs, especially his dogs. A Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 am on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Blessed Sacrament Church, 555 Pleasant St, Worcester. Burial will be private.

Arrangements are in the care of Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave.
