Obituary for Gayle Scott Gayle Ann (Smits) Scott, 82, Green Bay, passed July 9, 2018, surrounded by her family. She was born to the late George and Bernice (Bea) Smits. Born on Jan 1, 1936, Gayle was the first baby born locally of the new year.

In her younger years Gayle loved working in the yard and projects outside. Later in life she spent many hours cross stitching and sharing those beautiful pictures with her family. Much loved mother of Vicki (King) Kramer, Kim (Al) Khan, Tom (Heather) Goodletson, James (Sheila) Goodletson and Curt (Wendy) Scott.

She loved her grandchildren, babysitting when they were younger and enjoying their visits when they were older: Kassi (Nathan), Kory, Kris (Cassey), Kyla, Courtney, Luke (Cassi), Collin, Ryan and Tessa, Natasha, Kevin,Holly, and Chris; great grandchildren, Simone, Quinn, Isabelle, and Audrey including her special great granddaughters Tareae, Mariya, and Caitlyn. Further survived by her siblings, Jim, Tom, and Mary Lou and her brother Jack and his wife Kathy who were very special to her. She was preceded in death just 4 weeks earlier by her daughter, Kim who was her primary caretaker and best friend.

She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Dick Smits and Janet Speerschneider; and grandson, Joe Scott. At Gayle’s request there will be a celebration for the immediate family. The family would like to thank Unity Hospice for their care, compassion and friendship over the last couple years, especially Tara, Lori, and Cindy.
