Mr. Gene Franklin Christopher “Frankie” Redmon, a resident of Ozark, died Sunday, February 3, 2019. He was fifty-one years old. A memorial service for Mr. Redmon will be held at a later date.

Mr. Redmon was born July 16, 1967 in Union, South Carolina to the late Carol Gene Redmon and Brenda Joyce Coleman Redmon. He and his family moved to Ozark in 1973 where he attended Carroll High School. He worked in construction as a roofer and enjoyed fishing and cooking.

Survivors include one sister, Lynn Gorman (Patrick) of Panama City, Florida; three brothers, Kirby Redmon (Cathy) of Waynesville, North Carolina, Arthur Redmon of Ozark, Alabama; and Derek Redmon of Union, South Carolina; nieces, Kasey Messser of Canton, North Carolina, Dottie Messer of Waynesville, North Carolina, Angel Gorman of Panama City, Florida; one nephew, Cole Redmon of Mobile, Alabama.
