Genevieve T “Jean” (Mandela) Jarose, 100, of Elizabeth passed away on Monday, March 18, 2019, at Arista Care At Norwood, Plainfield. Jean was a life long resident of Elizabeth. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph, daughter Patricia Matinelli and her late husband Jack, grandson Joseph, and her brothers and sisters Andrew & Joseph Mandela, Stella Zelinski, Helen Mandela, & Bertha Lesniak.

Mrs. Jarose is the devoted mother of Arlene (Mrs. Frank Jr.)Imbriacco, loving grandmother of Dominick Matinelli, Vincentina, Frank and Christopher, and cherished great grandmother of eight great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren. Visiting (Thursday) 4:00 – 8:00PM Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Friday, March 22, 2019, 10:00 am at the Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 E. St. Georges Avenue, Linden, N.J. 07036. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Hedwig R. C. Church, Elizabeth 11:00 am.

Interment St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
