George and Ann were born on the same date, March 20, 1932 and 1934 respectively, and died on the same day, January 29, 2019. George passed away five hours before Ann. We are thinking he was checking everything out for her, then she went.

Earlier in his working career he worked in the coal mines, helped construct the Masontown-Carmichaels bridge and then started working at Duquesne Light in Elizabeth for 34 years. George was a lifelong hunter and fisherman. His son, Larry, will dearly miss their hunting trips.

Ann was a devoted wife and mother. Our fondest memories of Ann were her bread-making, pie-making and overall baking. Ann was also a devoted Uniontown Mall shopper.

We will dearly miss our shopping excursions with mom. Ann and George were truly devoted to each other throughout life and in death. They were lucky and were able to travel the world.
