George Angermeyer 57, of Union Beach, New Jersey passed away peacefully on July 26, 2018 after a long illness. George was born in South Amboy, New Jersey and was raised in Hazlet, New Jersey. He also lived a short time in Matawan and in 1989 he moved to Union Beach, New Jersey where he and his wife, Jill, settled to raise a family.

Before his illness George work as a Service Manager for H. Betti Industries in Carlstadt, New Jersey. He was predeceased by his parents, Fred and Anna (Grobs) Angermeyer and his brother, Paul Angermeyer. George is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Jill Hall-Angermeyer, his loving son, Justin Michael Angermeyer and his girlfriend, Caitlin McKee, his dear brother, William Angermeyer and his wife, Melissa, of Charlotte, North Carolina and many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

George will be greatly missed and never forgotten. Family and friends are invited to visit on Monday, July 30, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Tuesday morning, July 31, 2018 from 10:00 to 10:45 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A prayer service will be offered at the funeral home on Tuesday morning, July 31, 2018 at 10:45 AM.
