Sarah K. Larsen, 93, passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2018. She was born on August 31, 1924 in Brooklyn, New York before moving to Queens, in 1954. She lived in New Brunswick in 1959 before settling in Hazlet, New Jersey in 1960 where she remained and raised her family.

Sarah was employed by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey for many years. Sarah is predeceased by her dear parents, Samuel and Emma (Stirnburg) Krapko, her beloved husband, James Larsen and her dear son William Larsen. She is survived by her loving children, Susan Slade and her husband, Kevin Sr. of Freehold, New Jersey, Ellen Cook and her husband, Walter, Sr., of Novato, California and Reverend Jane McCready and her husband, Gary of New Providence, New Jersey, her cherished grandchildren, Kevin Slade, Jr., Christine Gonzalez and her husband Pablo, Walter Cook, Jr., and his wife, Katie, Claire Cook, Benjamin McCready, Madeline McCready, Charles McCready and her adored great-grandchild, Willow Cook.

Sarah will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. Family and friends are invited to visit on Sunday, July 22, 2018 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A Church service will be offered on Monday, July 23, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 60 Maple Place, Keyport, New Jersey 07735.
