George Bewley Morgan, age 79 of Jefferson City, TN passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2019. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church of Jefferson City. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Rachel Morgan, children, Mark Edward Morgan and Thomas Daniel Morgan, siblings, Magdalene Morgan Harbin, Argel Morgan, Luther Morgan, Marjory Morgan, Maynard Morgan, and Clifford Morgan.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Marie Miller Morgan, children, Richard Lee Morgan, William Christopher Morgan, and Leigh Ann Morgan Rogers, grandchildren, Jacob Morgan, Lucas Morgan, Moira Rogers, Knox Rogers, and Lincoln Rogers. Memorial donations may be made to the Gideon Organization Jefferson County, P.O. Box 1245, Dandridge, TN 37725. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
