Mr. George Clay Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, March 15, 2019 at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Opelousas, LA, for Mr. George Clay, 83, who entered eternal rest, Sunday, March 3, 2019 at his residence in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Park. Mr. Clay is survived by his sister, Cora Lee Sam of Lake Charles, LA; an uncle, Wilbert Clay (Lillie Mae) of Opelousas, LA; a nephew, Michael Sam of Beaumont, TX; three nieces, Cora Ann Garriet (Edward) of Lake Charles, LA, Paulette Hayes (Michael) of Opelousas, LA and Senith Sam of Beaumont, TX; two Goddaughters, Debra Siverand of Richmond, VA and Bobbie Bush of Opelousas, LA; seven great nephews, three great nieces, special friends, Marvin & Mary Washington of Opelousas, LA and Michael Landry; a special cousin, Rose Mary Johnson of Houston, TX and a host of extended family members and friends.

Mr. Clay was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Clay & Delphine Mitchell Clay. Visiting hours will be observed from 8:00 AM to 10:45 AM Friday, March 15, 2019 at Ebenezer Baptist Church. Share words of comfort with the Clay family at www.
