George “Jr”. Ridge, 90 of Paxton, IN passed away Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Oak Village Nursing Home in Oak Town, IN. He was born in Sullivan Co., IN February 3, 1928 the son of Richard Dick Ridge and Jennie Ladson Ridge.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Janet Figg Ridge, and five brothers, Hughie, Paul (Pete), Oral, Stanley (Jiggs) and Samuel (Buck) Ridge. He was a Korean Conflict Veteran, and retired from the Union Operating Engineers Local # 841. Survivors include one brother, John Ridge (Barb) of Earlville, IL, a brother in-law Ernest Thompson of Paxton, IN, several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

“Thank you to the employees and staff at the Oak Village for doing a great job for Jr. for the last 5 years. Funeral services will be at 11:00AM Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, IN. Interment will follow in the IOOF Cemetery with Military Graveside Rites by the Sullivan, Shelburn and Hymera Legion Posts and the Sullivan VFW Post.

Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
