OBITUARY George L. Canaday May 14, 1930 – August 31, 2018 George Lewis Canaday, CLU, 88, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away August 31, 2018. George was a United States Marine and Army Veteran, who served during the Korean War. He was a member of Community Christian Church in Camdenton, MO and former member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Wichita, KS.

He worked for National Life and Accident as an Insurance Manager in both Hutchinson and Wichita before he branched out on his own until his retirement. After retirement, he and his wife Bonnie, moved from Wichita to their home in Climax Springs, MO. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Bonnie; son, David C. Canaday; daughter, Carolyn M. (Todd) Bennett; grandchildren, Austin, Aiden and Evan Bennett; sister, Alice Cangelosi; brothers-in-law, Wayne Purintun and Hugh Miller and their families.

His Celebration of Life Service will be held 10 a.m. Fri. Sept. 14, 2018 at Community Christian Church in Camdenton, MO and 10 a.m. Sat.

Sept. 15, 2018 at Resthaven Mortuary Chapel in Wichita, KS.
