George Ness April 12, 1944 – February 23, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card George Ness, age 74, of Decorah, IA, died on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at the Winneshiek Medical Center in Decorah, IA. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at the Decorah Lutheran Church, 309 Winnebago Street in Decorah with Rev. Chad Huebner presiding.

Burial will be in the spring at Lutheran Cemetery in Decorah. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00pm on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at the Schluter-Balik Funeral Home, 604 South Ave in Decorah and also after 10:00am at the church on Wednesday morning. George is survived by his wife Paula.

Children: Tony (Laura) Miller, Lake City, MN; Tim (Sue) Miller, Dover, MN; Tina (Josh) Whalen, Chatfield, MN and Dusty (Jill) Miller, Harmony, MN. Grandchildren: Skyler & Zachary; Teigen & Saige; Brody & Allia; Jordan, Grace, Lily and Bennett. Sister: Sara Breitsprecher.

Sister-in-law: Connie Miller. Seven nieces. George’s card club friends.
