Mr. George Thomas Groves, age 79, passed away Saturday, November 10, 2018 in Jackson, Tennessee. He was born January 17, 1939 in Madison County, Tennessee to the late Thomas and Mary Groves. Mr Groves was a United States Navy Veteran and painter for Groves Painting.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Chris Groves; two brothers, Gary Groves and Bobby Groves; and a great granddaughter, Paisley Groves. Mr. Groves is survived by his wife, Lynda Groves; son, Toby Groves (Shera); daughter, Kristie Kay Bryan (Anthony); step daughter, Kimberly Turner; step son, Darin Alexander; 9 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. A visitation and memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at The Tabernacle of the Living God in Milan, Tennessee.
