George W. Dye, beloved husband for 63 years to LaVerne “Lorry” C. Dye nee Gilbert. Devoted father of Gordon (Vera) Dye, Gayla (Robert) Huber, Georgia (Jim) Rogers and the late Gina L. Dye. Brother of the late Arthur James Burgess.

Loving grandfather of Amelia Dye, Brian Dye, Ryan (Stacey) Huber, Christopher Huber, Ashley Huber and Morgan Rogers. Also survived by great grandchildren Eliza, Benjamin & Sadie Gandy and Archie Huber. He was a member of the VFW Post 2548, Greater Cincinnati Air Radio Association, Fairfield Sportsman’s Association, German American Club, Cincinnati Revolver Club and the ARPSC.

He passed on Monday July 9, 2018 at the age of 89 years. Visitation Saturday July 14th from 9 am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am, all at Our Lady of Lourdes Church 2832 Rosebud Drive Cincinnati Ohio 45238, with Navy and VFW Honors to follow at the church. Memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia Research Foundation, or the Shriner’s Hospitals for Children.
