George William Colville, 86 passed from this life on Friday, March 1, 2019 at his home in Moss Point. He was born April 18, 1932 in Moss Point. Mr. Colville was a graduate of Perkinston Junior College and attended Mississippi State University.

He was a veteran of the United States Navy where he served in the Korean War from 1951-1953. Mr, Colville enjoyed making Fruit Mare Wine, spending time with his grandchildren and was a member of Clear Water Christian Church of Mobile. He was a Life Member of Hardy C. Kelley American Legion Post 160 of Pascagoula; Life Member of Elmer Joseph Grant VFW post 3373 of Pascagoula; and a former member of Pascagoula Elks Lodge BPOE 1120.

Mr. Colville was preceded in death by his father and mother, John Henderson Colville, Sr. and Eunice Goff Colville; brothers, John Colville, Jr., Flim Colville and Andrew Colville; and three sisters, Juanita Brondum, Dorothy Delmas and Aleen Stork. Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, Una Fletcher Colville; daughters, Leslie Spencer & husband Brian, Ashley Gaffney and husband James and Dr. Amber Colville and husband, Lewis Sims; Grandchildren, Brittany Crowe and husband Arron, Lauren Martin, Emily Gaffney, Joshua Gaffney, McKenley Sims, Mallory Sims and Austin Sims. Great-grandchildren, Daleigh Bourn, Harper Crowe and Dax Crowe; Sisters-in-Law, Margie Colville and Barbara Colville Brown; Brother-in-Law, Hugh Fletcher and wife Mary Ellen; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 4, 2019 from 6:00 until 8:00pm at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at 11:00am from the Chapel of Holder-Wells Funeral Home with Rev. John Tucker, Rev.

Floyd Odom and Rev. Mark Delmas officiating. Interment will follow at Red Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery in Vancleave.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Brent Thames, Blake Thames, Arron Crowe, Joshua Gaffney, Bubba Green and Lamar Delmas. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jesse Gunn, Jerry McCool, Carol Robertson, Walter Greene, Kenneth Turberville and Richard Huff. Friends and family may share condolences at www.
