Obituary of George Guzzardo George Paul Guzzardo, 79, of The Villages, Florida passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2018. He was born in Philadelphia, PA on October 29, 1938. George was married to Nancy Krieble for 56 years and lived in Norristown, PA until 2004 when they moved to The Villages, FL.

Survivors include his wife Nancy K. Guzzardo; son George Guzzardo, Jr. (Isabelle); daughters Cheryl Frederick (Greg) and Kimberly Green (Jeff); grandchildren Jessica, Matthew, Alex, Ryan, Nicholas, Daniel, Morgan and Michael . He is preceded in death by his parents Yolando and Joseph Guzzardo; brothers Tom, Joseph, Ed and sister Edna Williams. George enjoyed playing base guitar and the banjo.

He played for the “Four Saints” in Norristown, PA for many years. When in high school he played in the Mummers parade in Philadelphia, PA. When he moved to The Villages, FL he joined the “Country Gospel Butterbean Band”.

George loved painting watercolors and enjoyed showing and selling his work at local craft shows. He was an avid golfer and loved getting out with his friends and grandchildren. His Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 11:00 AM at All Saints Episcopal Church, 535 Haws Ave, Norristown, PA 19401.

Friends may call on Tuesday morning from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cornerstone Hospice, donate. cshospice.org/or to Florida Cancer Specialists, foundation.
