Gerald A. Maudhuit, 69, of Freeport, passed away Thursday, September 6, 2018 in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born August 21, 1949, in Natrona Heights to the late Frank Maudhuit Sr and Anna Homer Rybicki. Gerald worked as an over the road truck driver, last working at J&L Steel.

He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the US Navy. Gerald was a life member of American Legion Post 226 in Brackenridge. He enjoyed gardening and working on cars.

Gerald is survived by his daughter, Jayme Maudhuit, of Brackenridge; siblings, Frank Maudhuit, of Creighton and Pat (Donald) Mitchell, of McAllen, Tx; and by his girlfriend, Carol Livingston and her son, Billy. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Kimberley Wilhelm Maudhuit in 1998. Services and burial for Gerald were private.
