Gerald Lloyd Cornu, age 87 of Hammond, LA died on Monday, January 28, 2019, at Richard Murphy Hospice House in Hammond, LA. Born, Wednesday, February 18, 1931 in New Orleans, LA to Lionel Cornu and Delores Frayle Cornu. Survived by his Daughters – Kim Ballard and Desiree Thompson, Son – Marc Cornu, 5 Grandchildren and 9 GreatGrandchildren He was predeceased by his Father – Lionel Cornu, Mother – Delores Frayle Cornu, five sisters and 2 brothers.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 01, 2019 at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue Covington, LA 70433. Visitation on Friday, February 01, 2019 from 11:00 AM to service time. Interment in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens Covington, LA.
