Gerald E. Maluse, age 80 years, died Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at his home. He was born October 5, 1938 to the late Aloysius and Evelyn (Walczak) Maluse in Bay City. Jerry was an employee of the Bay City Public School System before his retirement.

He was also the owner of Al’s Meat Market. Jerry honorably served his country in the U. S. Army. He was a member of the Polish Legion of American Veterans Post #162, the American Legion Post #18 in Bay City, the St. George Society, and F.O.E.… Read More » Aerie #1010.

Jerry also was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church of Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish. On May 18, 1957, Gerald married the former Margaret Jane Bala and after 61 years of marriage she survives him along with their two sons, Patrick Maluse and David Maluse; and a granddaughter, Tristen. A Memorial Service will take place at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, October 29, 2018 at the W. A. Trahan Funeral Chapel with Deacon Stanley Kuczynski presiding.

The P.L.A.V. Poppy Ceremony followed by Military Honors conducted by the Bay County Veterans Council will take place just prior to the Memorial Service. Private interment will be at St. Stanislaus Kostka Mausoleum.

Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association. Visiting hours will be on Monday from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Trahan Chapel. For on-line sentiments: www.
