Gerald R. “Jerry” Dotson, 66, of Toledo, died unexpectedly on November 26, 2018. He was born June 27, 1952 in Lima to the late Frank and Mary Lou (McClintock) Dotson. Jerry was a graduate of Waite High School and drove truck with Spader Freight for many years.

A big kid at heart, he was avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, and always had a smile on his face. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Janalyn (Basinger) Dotson; children, Kaylyn and Konnor Dotson; siblings, Terry (Bonnie), Larry (Brenda) and Sherry (Cindy) Dotson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the services at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2018 in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd. ).

Committal will be private.
