Gerald Ruder “Jerry” Age 94 of Wilmington, formerly Grand Ridge, Leonore, Tonica, Kankakee and Herscher, passed away peacefully Tuesday May 1, 2018 at his home. Visitation and Video Tribute will be Friday May 11, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East Kahler Road, in Wilmington. Funeral services will follow Saturday morning, May 12, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Rose Catholic Church, 604 South Kankakee Street, in Wilmington.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with Reverend Sebastian Gargol presiding. Burial will follow Mass in Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Wilmington, where Jerry will be laid to rest with his wife Lucille, who preceded him in death on May 26, 2013.
