Gerald M. Shemory, 61, of 34 Chestnut St., Shamokin Dam, formerly of Selinsgrove, entered into rest at 12:38 p.m., Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at Sunbury Community Hospital. He was born November 18, 1957, in Lewisburg, a son of Freeman E. Shemory of Mifflinburg, and the late Anita M. (Benson) Shemory. Gerald was employed at Suncom, Sunbury.

He enjoyed attending family gatherings, eating chocolate, being outdoors, and rocking in his rocking chair. Surviving in addition to his father are two brothers and sisters-in-law, Rodney E. and Linda Shemory of Wilkes Barre, and Vincent and Rose Shemory of Mifflinburg; and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Crystal C. and Richard Brosius of Winfield, and Dimond V. and Ronnie Kolc of Wilkes Barre. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Freeman C. Shemory and Keith A. Shemory.

Family and friends are welcome from 1:30 to 2 p.m., Saturday, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd. , Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 2, with David Swartzentruber, officiating. Burial will be in Hartleton Cemetery.
