Obituary for Geraldine Faye Stephon Geraldine Faye Stephon, age 79 passed away peacefully on the morning of June 5, 2018. Born in Punxsutawney, PA on February 16, 1939. She has resided in Dillon, MT since 2006.

She was a devoted and loving mother of three. Mark Stephon who currently resides in Dillon, MT, Lisa Hughes, who resides in Charlotte, NC and Michael Stephon, who preceded her in death on January 12, 2018, who also resided in Charlotte, NC. She was a grandmother of two, Shawn Hughes and Kristina Stoner and a great grandmother of five.

All who reside in Charlotte, NC. She was the oldest of five children, born to Malcolm and Lenore Yount. She grew up in Punxsutawney, PA where she attended high school.

She later earned her RN degree in Philipsburg, PA. She worked to Erie, PA and completed her BSN in 1986. She worked at Erie Osteopathic Hospital as a nursing supervisor and director of nursing.

She later became the high school nurse where all three of her children attended. She then moved to Charlotte, NC worked as a nursing instructor at Central Piedmont Community College. Her dream was to always teach nursing.

She loved all aspects of being able to bring new nurses into a world of compassion and caring. This was her ultimate goal and glory of her life. She had a true calling to the profession and was gifted as an angel of mercy to everyone she touched.
