Bluefield, WV- Geraldine Elizabeth “Granny” Cline, 88, of Bluefield, WV went to be with the Lord on Tuesday May 21, 2019 at Mercer Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bluefield. Born July 6, 1930 in Honaker, VA, she was a daughter of the late Bill Harman and Beulah Harman. Granny was a member of Midway Christian Church.

She was a manager in food service at the West Virginia Hotel and Western Sizzlin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Cline, Sr.; four children, Ernest Cline, Jr., Beth Arrington, Linda Gail Gillespie, and Ruthie Donahue; and siblings, Louise Sparks and Sam Harman. Survivors include her grandchildren, Cindy Hicks and husband Doug, Rodney Holcomb and wife Felicia, Kimberly Franklin, and Mickala Cline; four great-grandchildren; and special son-in-law, Mark Arrington.

A funeral service will be held on Friday May 24, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from the Mercer Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Dan Webb officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour. Burial will be at Monte Vista Park Cemetery where family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
