Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 11 am from the Chapel of Roeton Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Hart and Rev.

Harold Peters officiating. Interment will follow in the Roeton Baptist Church Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge directing. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019 from 10 am until 11 am at Roeton Baptist Church.

Mrs. Prestwood was born on December 23, 1922 in Ozark, AL to Herbert and Gladys Parker Casey. She is preceded in death by her husband: Hubert M. Prestwood; brother: Herbert Casey, Jr.; sisters: Mary P. Casey Burnette, Theresa Casey Riley; and grandson: Herbert Casey Prestwood. She is survived by her sons: Hubert Butch“ Prestwood (Mary Joyce), George Daniel Prestwood (Peggy); daughters: Brenda P. Steed (Robert), Deborah P. Carter (Danny); grandchildren: Beverly P. Windham (Keith), Marcia Prestwood, Paige P. Peters (Robert), Jason Steed (Brenda), Jud Steed (Denise), Jon Steed (Melanie), Dan Prestwood (Nicole), Josh Prestwood (Frannie), Byron Carter (Abby), Candace C. Nelson (David), Mindy C. Worley (Shawn); 29 Great- Grandchildren, 7 Great Great Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons. Serving as a honorary pallbearer will be Herbert Casey Prestwood.
